Veronica Montaño-Pilch

Veronica Montaño-Pilch has been advocating for children for twenty-six years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). Currently the Executive Director of New Mexico Kids Matter, Inc., she has provided consultation and technical assistance to National CASA member programs and designed, implemented, and delivered training in diversity, cultural competency, volunteer management, volunteer retention, communication, and strategic planning. She and her husband have six kids and fourteen grandkids who have taught them how to stop and just smell the roses.
